The SDLA and Industrial Law Society invites you to an afternoon seminar on Thursday 7th September 2017, at 4pm (registration from 3.30pm onwards), at the offices of Maclay Murray & Spens LLP, Quartermile One, 15 Lauriston Place, Edinburgh, EH3 9EP.

Further to publication of the European Union (Withdrawal) Bill, in this session, equalities and human rights barrister Schona Jolly QC of Cloisters Chambers (pictured) will take a look at the potential impact of Brexit on discrimination law in the UK.  Schona is also a regular commentator in the press on Brexit and will sharing with us her predictions for what the future might hold for equality law in the UK outside the EU.

The seminar, which is free of charge, will finish around 6pm and will be followed by refreshments. It will also be preceded by the SDLA Annual General Meeting at 3.00pm which is open to Scottish Discrimination Law Association members and all interested parties.
